For Jason’s birthday yesterday, I made this chocolate cake from "The Cake Doctor" and topped it with a vanilla buttercream. The cake is so moist and perfect!
1 package chocolate fudge cake mix
1 small (3 oz) package of chocolate instant pudding
4 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
½ cup warm water
½ cup vegetable oil
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
Mix it all together. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven. I baked mine in a greased 9x13 for 40 minutes. The recipe calls for a greased/floured bundt pan for 45-50 minutes. Test cake by touching it with your finger…if it bounces back and it is beginning to pull away from the pan, it is done.
