Thank you, first of all, to everyone who has been praying for today's ultrasound.
The really fantastic news is that they were able to see the gestational sac right where it is supposed to be. The "iffy" news is that they weren't able to see the baby "pole" yet.
SOOO, they are running more tests to find out whether things are right on schedule and typical or if there is a problem. I had a blood test today and will be getting blood tests Wednesday, Friday, and next Tuesday. Then, I go in for another ultrasound and consultation next Thursday, 3/5.
Due to some spotting and discomfort, I'm supposed to keep my activity level low until then. Fine by me! :)
As difficult as my first ectopic pregnancy was, it was a blessing in disguise. The doctors are taking this pregnancy very seriously and doing all they can to rule out any problems. I highly doubt that I would be getting this much attention and care without the previous complications.
Thank you again for your prayers.
